The Bocuse d'Or Colombia Academy is a young academy, which currently has two participations in the grand final of the Bocuse d'Or. It is led by Chef Carlos Pájaro in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. The aim is to maintain that the team has people who have participated in previous campaigns, but new talents with new ideas and different perspectives are also valued.
The academy is increasingly demanding, promoting discipline, companionship and teamwork, the candidate, commis and coach, are surrounded by people who lead them to success, accompanying and supporting them at every step.

Colombia is a country that has between 14-15% of the world's biodiversity, which provides a great variety of natural resources. It also allows the country to have a diverse gastronomy, full of flavors and of course with a very strong identity.
Therefore, the Bocuse d'Or Colombia is looking for chefs who can identify their country and its gastronomy, while maintaining discipline, rigor and belonging. Accompanied by a young, multidisciplinary team, eager to learn and increase the level of exigency, leaving a great legacy in gastronomy in Colombia and the world. The team led by two-time candidate Chef Carlos Pájaro, with the intention of sharing the lessons learned throughout the campaigns, and to pass this valuable information from generation to generation.
Colombia has participated twice in the grand final, and the goal is to continue participating, understanding the demands of the competition, meeting the requirements and raising the standards.
