In 2022, Team Chile hosted the Americas selection of Bocuse d'Or and as Jérôme Bocuse said "It was a fabulous day! It was the first time the Bocuse d’Or was held in Chile, and it’s such a great feeling to be together cheering for food."
After 5 participations in a row, Chile is one of the team-to-watch in the Bocuse d'Or network. The national team is supported by Achiga Chile. Founded in 1980, it oversees the interests and development of the gastronomic sector in Chile. It brings together the main companies in the gastronomic sector, it is made up of restaurants, fast food chains, institutional food service and supplier companies in the sector (collaborating partners), with more than 2000 points of sale in the country.
